Asbestos cement sheeting in reasonable condition and left undisturbed doesn't automatically need removing, but once it's degraded, damaged, or has to be worked on or through, the regulatory position changes. We'll be straightforward about which category a roof falls into rather than assuming the answer before a survey.

Where removal is needed, work is planned and carried out in line with current asbestos regulations, with licensed asbestos removal contractors brought in for notifiable work. Once the old sheeting is off, we replace it with a modern, non-fragile roofing system so the new roof doesn't carry the same fall-through risk during future maintenance.
