What We Do

Roofing services

From single-unit repairs to full warehouse re-sheets, here's what we cover across Birmingham.

Industrial Roofing

Large industrial roofs bring their own set of demands: long spans, exposed fixings, rooflights that age faster than the surrounding sheet, and access that has to be planned around a working site.

Commercial Roofing

Commercial roofs cover a wider range of buildings than industrial sheds — offices, retail units, converted warehouses, mixed-use premises — and usually a wider range of roof build-ups too.

Cladding

Cladding does two jobs at once — weatherproofing and appearance — and when it starts to fail, both suffer. We install, repair and overclad industrial and commercial buildings across Birmingham.

Asbestos Roof Replacement

A large number of the older industrial and commercial roofs across Birmingham were originally sheeted in asbestos cement, and where that material is degraded or being disturbed by other works, it needs to be dealt with properly rather than worked around.

Warehouse Roof Replacement

A warehouse roof replacement has to work around the building underneath it: racking layouts, stock that can't get wet, and a schedule that rarely allows the whole roof to come off at once.

Factory Roof Replacement

Factory roofs take a different kind of wear to a warehouse — heat, extraction plant, vibration, sometimes a corrosive internal atmosphere — and a replacement needs to account for that, not just match what was there before.

Metal Cladding

Profiled and composite metal cladding is the standard external finish for most industrial and commercial buildings across Birmingham, and it's designed to be maintained rather than left alone until it fails.

How It Works

Getting a roof sorted

  1. Get in touch

Call or send details of the building and the problem you're seeing, and we'll arrange a time to take a look.

  2. Roof survey

We inspect the roof to identify the actual cause of any issue, not just the symptom, and check the overall condition.

  3. Clear quote

You get a written breakdown of what's needed and why, so you can weigh up the options before committing.

  4. Work carried out

Work is planned around your site's operational needs, with the roof left weathertight at the end of each day.

About Profile Cladding

Industrial roofing and cladding specialists

Profile Cladding works on warehouses, factories, commercial units and industrial estates: re-sheeting roofs, replacing and overcladding tired cladding, and carrying out repairs. Overcladding existing roofs, including older asbestos cement roofs, is a particular speciality. A new profiled sheet system goes over the top, giving the building a weathertight roof without a full strip-out.

  • Workmanship that’s built to last
  • A solution tailored to each building
  • Clear communication from survey to handover
  • Competitive pricing, with a written quote

Questions

Frequently asked

Do you work on both industrial and commercial roofs?

Yes. We cover industrial units, warehouses and factories, as well as commercial premises such as offices and retail buildings, across Birmingham.

Can you survey a roof before quoting for work?

Yes, a survey is the starting point for any quote so the work specified actually matches the condition and cause of the problem, rather than a generic estimate.

Do you handle roofs with asbestos cement sheeting?

Yes. Where a roof contains asbestos cement sheeting that needs removing, the work is planned and carried out in line with current asbestos regulations, coordinating with licensed asbestos contractors where required.

What areas do you cover?

We cover Birmingham and the surrounding area. Call us to check whether we cover a specific location.
